2011 State of The Union Address

President Obama has a great plan, agenda, and perception for America. Presidnet Obama also focuses not only on the major factors but also the small things that can make this country better for all of us.

The major point that President Obama planned were as follows: Innovations, Education, and Rebuilding. The take President Obama has on politics is unique, he plans everything, organizes, and then addresses them. I watched the enhanced version of The State of The Union Address on whitehouse.gov and YouTube. this version includes graphs and statistics that prove and help better understand the information being provided.

Out of the three main key points, I think education is the most important because it not only sets up the present and future for Americans but also is lagging behind in America. According to one of the graphs in The State of The Union Address, America is currently in 9Th place when it comes to education. "The No Child Left Behind" act is obviously not working enough and so Obama created an improvised plan called, "Race To The Top". I noticed a lot of Obama's ideas and way of governing America. He plans ahead and sets major, yet achievable goals for us Americans to gain.

Innovation is the first key point that is discussed but is probably second important. It is the future of America and how we create a better life for ourselves. It is the new technologies and the inventions that make America great. One of President Obama's plans is to make 80% of Americas electricity come from clean, natural energy by the year 2035. President Obama talks about the other countries success compared to Americas success in innovation tecchnology also known as, new inventions. Hopefully America will strive to excellence in the upcoming years.

The last key point is rebuilding. Now, rebuilding can lead to many different meaning such as rebuilding in tecchnology, community, or sociality. This is just as important as the other two main points but i decided to prioritize the three theme to my personal opinion.

President Obama is good for our nation in many more ways and should be reelected in 2012. These are the main key points I picked up from the 2011 State of The Union Address.
