Obama's State of the Union speach was extremely well done, in my opinion. He did a good job discussing the most important issues facing our country. I thought it was very cool that he talked about wanting bipartisanship between the Senate and new Republican House of Representatives. The main focus of the speach was our troubled economy. Many people are losing their jobs and houses, and it is important that Obama highlight these issues and explain his plan of action to help the economy back on its feet. I also liked how he discussed making the No Child Left Behind law more flexible. Finally, I really liked his plan to help train workers for jobs with new technology. This will help decrease unemployment by giving workers who have limited skills, new and useful skills.
