Obama Sate of the Union 2011

In his address to Congress i thought president Obama was very encouraging. I liked the fact that he started first with observing the tragedy in Tuscon Arizona. The president discussed a lot a bout the economy. he said that America still has the biggest econy in the world. he discussed the need of bipartisanship and cooperation between the two parties so things could get done. I liked the fact that Obama talking about bipartisanship instead of the congress member's always thinking about the next election.Obama acknowledge the need for improved education so students in America can compete with students in Asia. He used the word change, together, and future a lot. I agree with the president in the case that education needs to improve so that students in America can create better technologies that students in Asia. the president talked a lot about innovation and how the Nation need to move towards cleaner energy. President Obama also discussed the need for the new generation to cease this moment has our very own "sputnik moment". This should be taken as a time to put a concided effort into creating new and better technology. President Obama also talked about some miltary effors in the middle east. he claims that al-queada is under more pressure than any point since 2001. America has been a country of hope and choices since its orgins.
