The 15th amendment has had a significant effect on the voting process. people cannot be denied the right to vote due to their race or color.
ReplyDeleteprotection of votiing rights matter so much in a democratic system because in a democratic system all people are suppose to be equal.
the new technology makes tamper proofing and accurately counting votes easier.
1. I believe it has. The 15 ammendment allows more people from different backgrounds to vote. it diversifies the voter body and adds another viewpoint to american politics.
ReplyDelete2. One of the keys to a successful democracy is the belief that everyone has a say in the government. If that got taken away one or more groups wouldn't be fairly represented. there is no way to find a successful legislature if not every one is represented.
3. I think it does the opposite. I believe that with more technology comes more protections. The machines can also do counting more accurately and efficiently, giving faster results and less time to tamper with the system.
