Article 1- Rangel is Found to Have Violated House Rules
This article is a watchdog. It is a watchdog because it is unearthing a scandal within congress. This man, Charles Rangel, was found to have 13 ethics violations. Some were failure to pay his taxes, failure to accurately identify income, and improper solicitation of funds. He was found guilty of all 13 violations. This article told the wrongdoing of a man in power.

Article 2- Britain to Pay Ex-Guantanamo Detainees
This article is a gatekeeper article. This article is about how the British government is going to pay 16 people who were held in Guantanamo Bay. This all came after a major lawsuit against the government. This is a gatekeeper because it is something I wouldn't know about otherwise. I wouldn't know about it because it is dealing with a foreign government and detainees from a prison in Cuba.

Article 3- Arizona Primary Results 2010
This article is a scorekeeper. This article tells us that Senator McCain won the arizona primary by a huge margin. The article says this almost gaurantees him a spot in the Senate for a fifth term. This is a scorekeeper because it deals with who won elections.
